Seeing the error message “There was an error processing a page. Invalid ColorSpace” when opening PDFs?

This happens with IE8/Firefox, and some versions of Adobe Reader.

FIX 1
Save the file to your computer then open it with Adobe Reader in the normal way

FIX 2
Uncheck "Display PDF in browser" setting in Adobe Reader's preferences

FIX 3
Open Adobe Reader and click Edit -> Preferences

Click on the “Internet” section in the left window

Uncheck the box “Allow fast web view"

Select the correct “Connection speed” based on the type of Internet connection you are using

Click OK and close Reader. You may also need to restart your browser
