Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and surrounded by mountains, Beddgelert is one of the most attractive villages in Snowdonia.  Picturesque and unspoilt, and with its old stone bridge spanning the River Colwyn just upstream of its confluence with the River Glaslyn, it is the nearest village to the scenic Glaslyn gorge, an area of tumultuous river running between steep wooded hills.  An unspoilt tourist attraction, it has won many accolades and awards, and boasts a full range of amenities, which include hotels, cafes, restaurants, inns, shops.... and the legendary Gelert’s grave. This property, set on a small estate, is within a stone’s throw of the river and within a 2 minute walk of the Welsh Highland Railway station, from where you can enjoy a 23½ mile journey through the fabulous scenery of the National Park. Accommodation comprises: lounge with cast-iron multi-fuel stove (logs available in village), TV with Freeview; newly-fitted kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave etc.; separate dining room with gas fire and patio doors opening out onto the rear patio area.  Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, all with TV’s (including one with a king size bed) and a bathroom/toilet with bidet and overbath shower.  Bed linen and electricity included in the rental. Gas central heating at £15 per week. Travel cot and stairgate available. Parking. No pets.
