Built at the end of the 19th century for the solicitor of Lord Newborough’s Glynllifon Estate, this beautifully appointed and luxurious country house is situated within extensive landscaped grounds in an elevated position between Nefyn and Pwllheli.  Its central location makes it an excellent base from which to explore both Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.  There are several beaches within easy reach; two golf courses within a few minutes’ drive, (including the championship course at Nefyn); Pwllheli and Abersoch, both world renowned sailing centres are nearby; and there are plenty of quiet country lanes and well-marked footpaths for easy walking and cycling.  Approached via a sweeping golden gravel drive the property enjoys magnificent uninterrupted views across rolling countryside to Snowdonia and beyond.  Retaining many original period features, it has been sympathetically restored and affords exceptional comfort, coupled with the warm and welcoming ambience of a well-loved and cared-for old house.  The accommodation comprises: a beautiful entrance hall; comfortable lounge with flatscreen TV and an original fireplace with an open fire - 1st basket of logs included; separate dining room - ideal for lavish dinner parties or for less formal family dining;  well-equipped bespoke kitchen/breakfast room with Belfast sink, oil-fired Rayburn cooker, gas hob, convection microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer etc; cloakroom/toilet; and a twin-bedded room.  Upstairs there are three spacious and comfortable bedrooms: a master bedroom with king-size double and en-suite shower/toilet; a second double bedroom with en-suite shower/toilet with underfloor heating; and a twin-bedded room.  There is also a luxurious family bathroom with roll-top bath and shower.  Central heating, electricity costs and bed linen are all included in the rental.  There is also free Wi-Fi for those who need to keep in touch whilst on holiday.  Ample parking for cars and boats.
