Formerly the Gardener’s Cottage, this delightful 18th century cottage is situated within the extensive grounds of an impressive Grade 2 listed Georgian farmhouse near Pwllheli.  Reached by a wooded drive (which boasts masses of snowdrops in winter and daffodils and bluebells in the Spring), it is in a quiet,  sheltered location, yet within less than a 5 minute drive of Pwllheli, with its award-winning Marina and Blue Flag beach.  The farm itself  is of much historical interest with evidence of Celtic Round Huts and Long Huts (both of which are listed with Cadw), and a unique “Otter House” which was used for the breeding of the first dogs of the Welsh terrier breed. There is a Nature Trail on the land and guests are welcome to observe at milking time from the safety of the viewing platform in the highly-efficient computerised milking parlour. With exposed beams throughout, the cottage has recently been refurbished, and retains much of its original charm and character.  On the ground floor, it comprises; a lounge with Freeview TV, comfortable suite, and a cast iron-effect electric fire;  kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, automatic washing machine etc.; newly-fitted shower room/toilet with heated towel rail; and a comfortable double bedroom. Upstairs, under the eaves, there are two smaller bedrooms, one with a set of bunks, the other with a double bed. Although capable of sleeping 6, the property is let to a maximum of 5. Bed linen included in the rental.  Electric heating - electricity by meter reading at end of stay.   Within the rear enclosed  sun-trap patio there is a patio set, BBQ, and the original 16th century well, now closed off for safety.  Parking for two cars - space for trailer/boat by arrangement. One dog accepted by arrangement at £10 per week. Spring Bank Holiday charged at £435.
