Well-served by restaurants, pubs, and shops, and with its impressive Welsh Castle dominating the shoreline, it is not difficult to see why Cricieth is known as the “Jewel of Snowdonia.” With the beach an easy stroll away, and all amenities conveniently to hand, it is ideal for those who want to simply relax by the sea. Whatever your interests - walking, climbing, fishing, pony trekking, bird watching, cycling, or visiting places of historical interest - there is something here for everybody.
Lovingly and sympathetically restored, the accommodation comprises: a characterful and comfortable lounge/diner with stone inglenook and multifuel stove (coal and logs available nearby), TV with DVD and video; well-equipped fitted kitchen with halogen double oven, fridge, microwave, washer/drier etc. Upstairs bathroom/toilet with overbath shower. All 3 bedrooms are nicely appointed, and one even enjoys a direct view of the castle and the sea! Under the single bed there is another pull-out bed, ideal for a child or occasional guest. Electricity and bed linen included - no towels. Gas central heating by arrangement at £15 per week. Rear enclosed, elevated patio area, with climbing fragrant white roses and patio furniture - the perfect place to unwind at the end the day with a glass of wine. Parking. Non-smokers only. Unlimited Wi-Fi internet access at £10 per week (you must have updated anti-virus and firewall protection for your laptop). For couples wishing to take advantage of all that Cricieth has to offer during the quieter months, we are pleased to offer a discount of £15 per week in the C & D price bands.
