LAKESIDE COTTAGE AT NANTLLE, NEAR SNOWDON

Centrally situated for both mountains and coast, this delightful Victorian former quarryman’s terrace cottage has been sympathetically modernised. With its stripped pine woodwork it successfully combines modern comforts with period charm. Not only does it enjoy the enviable position of being in the heart of the beautiful Nantlle valley, and therefore a short drive from Snowdon itself, but also boasts direct, private access to Nantlle Lake (approx. 100 yards away), with the possibility of sailing, kayaking, canoeing, trout and salmon fishing etc. (Launch your boat from field adjoining the cottage). Serious walkers, climbers, and ramblers are well catered for, as well as those who simply want to “stay put” and enjoy the view. Accommodation comprises; lounge/diner with feature fireplace of local slate, an electric fire, TV and DVD player; recently-fitted, well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, automatic washing machine etc.; downstairs shower room/toilet; and three upstairs bedrooms, one of which looks out onto the lake. Duvets on all beds. Linen available at £4 per bed. Cot and highchair available by arrangement. Central heating included in rental. Electricity metered. Safe enclosed garden at rear with patio set as well as a second toilet/washbasin.
